Rachael Lucas is an American Cheese Society CCP (Certified Cheese Professional), CCSE (Certified Cheese Sensory Evaluator), Society of Wine Educators CSW (Certified Specialist of Wine), and Wine and Spirit Education Trust WSET Level 3. She is the owner and operator of Cheese Lady Loves Wine LLC. Rachael spends most of her time chasing organoleptic properties and fulfilling her mission in the preservation of artisan cheesemaking.  She accomplishes this through education, palate titillation, sensory stimulation, and good, old-fashioned cheesemongering.  She is a cheese and wine writer, educator, and aroma enthusiast. Nowadays, you can find her mongering and educating at The Curd Nerd in Syracuse, New York, which is a cut-to-order cheese shop with an exceptional, rotating selection of artisan fromage.
